The desk was created in mid-2026 in response to a market gap: most published fantasy-cricket guides were either paid placements or thin pages optimised for search. The desk’s first brief was the page you are reading now — an editorial about page, written to introduce the desk’s principles before any specific guide was published. The first guides followed: research methodology, captain frame, scoring workbook. The site grew from there.
The desk is small by design. A small team can publish fewer guides and pay more attention to each one. We have no plans to scale up the team or the publication cadence; the goal is depth, not breadth.

The desk’s roadmap
The desk’s roadmap is intentionally short. We will add tournament hubs for the IPL, the T20 World Cup and bilateral series where the data justifies the page. We will add player profiles for players we have covered across at least 5 matches in the current season. We will not add pages just to fill the site. Depth, not breadth.
The desk will also re-check the verification matrix on every operator we cover at least once per quarter. The matrix date is the desk’s most honest signal; if a reader sees an old date, they should treat the matrix as a starting frame, not as current evidence.
Why a small team
